On Saturday local companies and initiatives came together at the first Brentford Green Fair to promote eco activities and give insights how the local community can be cleaner and greener.
Olwg directors and local residents Tony and Rosie were delighted to be asked exhibit and present Olwg's tools and applications to fellow Brentfordians to give insights about transitioning to different energy sources at home.
The event was a great success with attendees, including local MPs and councillors, showing great interest in our applications in particular the in-sim solar application to calculate the likely payback time of installing solar panels to home and exploring the sources of carbon emission and current and future wind farm power potential on the latest revision of the in-vis mapping application.
Thanks to Sarah from St Paul's in Brentford for organising an excellent event. We'll look forward to attending all future fairs to help our local community understand how to make changes towards the energy transition and keeping Brentford Brilliant!
