We are pleased to announce that Kate Evans has joined the Olwg board as non-executive director.
Kate is an Energy and Construction Lawyer based in Cardiff, South Wales. Her main areas of expertise are renewable energy projects, and sustainable living. In her spare time she is a Trustee of Wales’ leading sustainability charity, Cynnal Cymru.
Kate has provided legal advice on a wide range of energy and decarbonisation projects, from advising start up companies and community energy groups, to local government and UK government funded largescale decarbonisation projects.
Kate grew up in Caerphilly, South Wales. She returned to Wales in 2018, after living in Taunton and Exeter for several years.. In her spare time she looks after her two young sons, and as a former competitive rower enjoys exercising with any spare moment she can find.
I am very excited to join Olwg. They are a dynamic company, that is able to match the fast moving pace of the energy world. I look forward to getting stuck in where needed, and helping them achieve their targets
